Empire X Game Logos

When I first thought of Empire X, I thought of royalty. I know I would want to use some kind of symbol to convey this message. I originally wanted to use a chess piece as the background for the company name, but after going through several drafts, I finally decided on a more modern look incorporating the initials E and X. Then, I created a crown on top of the letters to create the same kind of effect.

Two of the most popular game trends right now are first person shooting games, like Medal of Honor and multiplayer online role playing games like World of Warcraft. I modeled my two games after those two ideas. I chose fonts from Adobe Typekit to set the tone for each logo. I used a grey fill color for the shield to simulate metal and contrasted it with red sword to symbolize war.

 For Drone Strike I chose a military style lettering and colors representative of camouflage.
